see page margins definable in inches and possibly as quick to change as line spacing is. It's essential for writing essays in college in MLA format.

By double clicking in the area of the status bar where it says "Unit: millimeter", it takes you to the window to change units. Then choose "Inches", uncheck "Use character units", and it's saved for life.

Please fix the code entry thingee in Idea Informer on both ways in - it kept telling me I had the wrong digits, but I had the right digits - at least a dozen times. Using Chrome on Win7 core i7 notebook with separate numeric keypad and regular keyboard numbers, and it wouldn't take it either way, with or without Num Lock. Very frustrating. Don't know how I got out of there - I don't know if it actually went through.

The idea was about being able to not lose newly set options when it crashed on startup (twice) using "New from other template", with a very simple Word 93 template that apparently had XML in it. I guess clicking "ok" on the "Tools...Options" dialog doesn't actually save it until the document is saved - not such a good thing! Then it flattened the header when I used another Word 93 template that it did accept OK, but it had moved a line away from a logo and I couldn't select any of the header to fix it - it didn't come in as a text box with border and graphic like the original header was, or even as editable text that I could add a border to.

I had great hopes that this would work well for me - I like Word 93, but it doesn't work well in Win 7 on my machine (can't even see any folders in Libraries, for starters). I didn't like Word 2007 or OO/LO particularly. I guess I will have to figure this out somehow, or just run Word 93 in compatability mode!

But thanks for offering it.
